Shelburne Police Seeking Public Assistance In Fail To Remain Collision

On Monday April 7th, Shelburne Police responded to a motor vehicle collision near Glenbrook School.  The investigation revealed that a black SUV struck a light standard causing significant damage to the vehicle.  The black SUV will have serious damage to the front end, especially the right front quarter panel.

The SUV fled the scene prior to police arrival, and the driver of the vehicle never reported the incident to police.

Shelburne Police is appealing the public for any information they may have in regards to this incident.  Police want to hear from anyone whether they witnessed the collision directly, have seen a black SUV with this type of damage, or even just heard third hand who may be responsible.

Shelburne Police are reminding the public, that leaving the scene of a collision, and failing to report a collision are offences under the Highway Traffic Act or the Criminal Code of Canada – depending on the circumstances.
