Shortly before 1am this morning (Friday December 22nd 2017), as part of a R.I.D.E. program, Shelburne Police officers stopped a vehicle to check for sobriety on Col. Philips Drive.
The driver of this vehicle provided a roadside breath sample which she failed. The driver was arrested for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80mgs Alcohol and transported to the Shelburne Police Station for further tests.
These tests indicated that the driver had more than 100mga of alcohol in their system. As a result, 45 year old Michelle CRAIB of Shelburne was charged with Operation with over 80 mgs of Alcohol. She was released on a promise to appear and undertaking with a first court appearance date in early January to answer to the allegations.
