Three Vehicles Damaged In Collision – Including A Shelburne Police Cruiser

Around noon on Monday September 26th, a collision occurred at William Street and First Avenue in Shelburne.  The three vehicles involved were a Shelburne Police cruiser, a Jeep SUV, and a parked Ram pick-up truck.

This four way intersection is a two-way stop controlled with stop signs and a flashing red light.

Thankfully there were no injuries.

Dufferin OPP investigated the collision because a Shelburne officer was involved.

The Shelburne officer was not responding to a call for service at the time of the collision.

The driver of the Jeep was charged under the Highway Traffic with Fail to yield to traffic on through highway.
