Two Youth Charged With Possession For The Purpose Of Trafficking Marijuana

On October 8th 2016, Shelburne Police launched an investigation after they received a report of two youth with marijuana at a residence in town.  The two youth were on an undertaking as a result of previous drug related charges.

As a result of the investigation a large quantity of marijuana was seized and both youth were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, and Failing to Comply with Undertaking under the Criminal Code of Canada.

The two accused cannot be identified as per the regulations of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
